As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. Hatch is seeking a Marketing Co-op student for an internship starting September 2024. Reporting to Marketing and Communications you will support offices globally working from our Mississauga office location.

- Rotating through a series of assignments and challenges within the marketing and communications group, which may include writing, editing, social media, video production, design, graphics, proposal preparation, digital and internal communications.
- Interfacing with Hatch business groups in the areas of mining and metals, energy, and infrastructure.
- Attending and contributing to department and project team meetings.
- Participating in the creation of reports, proposals, and presentations, as requested.
- Other administrative duties as assigned.
**You bring to the role**:
- Working towards a degree in marketing, journalism, public relations or communications. Ideally in 3rd or 4th year.
- Understanding of marketing, media relations, public relations and /or communications
- Planning, writing, editing and project management skills
- Proficiency in the development of various print, digital, and social marketing and communications with hands-on capability
- Role requires an individual with business acumen, confidence, excellent judgment and interpersonal skills that can consult, influence and collaborate with colleagues across different levels, geographies and business groups
- Superior people and relationship skills are critical to this role, and the ability to work independently and possess strong judgment on when to escalate issues.
