As a member of the Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) practice, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the integration of technology and tax. Our team is dedicated to developing and deploying cutting-edge automation and analytic solutions that enable RSM to lead in the middle market. We draw inspiration from tax planning ideas, market needs and technological innovations to craft service offerings that deliver real results for our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work collaboratively with Tax Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and technical teams on development projects during all phases of solution development life cycle.
- Conduct process review and design sessions to gain insights into end user needs.
- Lead rapid assessment projects or full-scale process improvement discovery phase as part of larger tax transformation/finance transformation programs.
- Interface with clients to define and document requirements for a named set of custom developed or vendor software products.
- Develop and configure proof of concept solutions using a variety of productivity tools such as Microsoft Power Platform, Tableau, Alteryx and Asana.
- Support internal automation assignments through prioritizing requirements, defining and managing scope for projects.
- Assist with training and adoption.
- Provide operational support to tax practitioners.
- Configure features in production and non-production environments.
- Engage with various teams to resolve problems as they arise.
- Maintain a solid knowledge base of the functional capabilities of tax technology products.
- Experiment with new software to determine its viability as a solution to tax problems.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field, Accounting, Business Administration, or relevant educational or professional experience
- 1-3+ years of related experience in related field.
- Some tax experience is preferred
- Accreditations such as CPA, or other productivity software certifications is a plus
- Experience in process design and process improvement
- Advanced analytical, written and verbal communication skills required
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Basic client interaction skills
- Ability to coordinate and work effectively with teammates, end-users and leadership
- Ability to work in a virtual team environment
- Ability to complete work in an acceptable timeframe and manage a variety of detailed tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and with accuracy to meet deadlines, goals, objectives and satisfy internal and external customer needs related to the job
- Familiarity with agile project methodology
- Ability to travel as needed

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Professional services, tax services or consulting experience
- Process, Finance or digital transformation initiative experience
- Experience delivering training and other learning and development activities
- Knowledge and experience with tax compliance or financial systems

Compensation Range: $53,000 - $75,000
