**Position Overview**:
This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the Group Manager. The primary role of this position is to oversee the operations, programming, and maintenance of machinery within Steel Door Manufacturing Group at Apex Industries.

Some overtime may be required, and training will be provided.

**Responsibilities**:

- Setup, Program and operate the machinery.
- Read and interpret technical information (blueprints, internal process routing sheets)
- Performing routine maintenance on equipment and work with technicians when necessary
- Develop, implement and administer daily, weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance procedures and ensure these are executed on time.
- Ability to use a forklift
- Recognize and communicate areas to improve
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Understand and effectively carry out oral and written instruction

**Qualifications**:

- Demonstrate ability to function in a team-based work environment.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the willingness to stick to tasks that may be repetitive in nature.
- Strong Computer Skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions with mínimal supervision.
