**Job Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to)**:
***:

- Work in a small group setting (1:4 ratio) alongside an Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Therapist to support the delivery of ABA-based services
- Plan developmentally appropriate classroom activities
- Foster the development of communication, play, motor, social and personal independence goals.
- Design and arrange developmentally appropriate spaces
- Use ABA principles under the guidance of the ABA Therapist and Clinical Supervisor to assist children working towards goals
- Manage challenging behaviours following NVCI principals and support medically fragile learners
- Contribute to a positive and team-based working environment

**Qualifications**:
***:

- Early Childhood Educator diploma or education in child development
- Minimum 6 months practical/applied experience working in childcare
- Professional experience working with children with autism
- Knowledge of the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis
- Practical experience in collecting, graphing and analyzing data
- Current certification in first aid, CPR, non-violent crisis prevention intervention (NVCI) would be an asset
- Ability to communicate well with families, co-workers and supervisors
- Capacity to navigate technology quickly and efficiently, including excel, google docs/sheets and various apps used for communication
- Previous Health & Safety experience an asset
- Current Police Check, including vulnerable screening
