We are looking for a dedicated and outgoing Independent Living Coordinator who is passionate about caring for our seniors and providing a safe and pleasant home in our independent living residence.

**What You Will Do**
- Manage the day-to-day operations of 31 Independent Living suits in located in Vernon, keeping the organization on track for its long-term goals and mission.
- Address resident issues and/or concerns by maintaining pro-active and responsive relationships in order to achieve a high rate of tenant satisfaction.
- Monitor and enhance employee performance through education, coaching, mentoring, guidance, and role modeling.
- Facilitate relationships and communication between departments, clients, families, team members and community stakeholders.
- Lead the marketing activities including providing tours, arranging media advertising, developing a marketing plan and signing occupancy agreements.
- Oversee residence occupancy levels, new leases and move outs.
- Facilitate recreational activities for your tenants, such as outings, game nights, etc.
- Develop and maintain an effective quality and risk management system for the Independent Living department to ensure regulations and standards are met.
- Cultivate and promote a safe environment for those in the residence by following Occupational Health and Safety regulations, infection control protocols, violence prevention, and cultural safety training.

**Your Qualifications - The Must Have’s**
- One to three years of related experience in a seniors independent living residential setting
- Demonstrated customer service skills, leadership, and exceptional administrative abilities
- Experience with creating marketing plans and advertising initiatives
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills coupled with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Computer proficiency with and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products
