**Reports to**: Michael San Pedro (Production Supervisor)
**Status**: Full-time

**Job Scope**:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the scope of this position involves leading the Production Team to achieve standards related to cost, line efficiencies, waste, safety and productivity.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the Production staff and participate in various employee relation matters such as training and employee support
- Work closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure accurate production requirements are met
- Ensure line efficiencies and maintain product quality
- Ensure and maintain quality and safety standards within the plant
- Monitor and perform routine checks of systems to ensure lines are running smoothly
- Interact with maintenance and supervisory staff regarding any production issues
- Complete documentation of GMPs, H&S and HACCP related items
- Monitor and maintain the Quality, Food Safety and SQF systems
- Provide relief coverage for other machine operators/production workers
- Food Safety & Quality responsibility as outlined in SOPs & other training materials provided and accurate record keeping
- Attend prescribed courses/training
- Other duties as assigned by Management

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or Lead Hand experience is an asset
- Previous work experience in food industry is considered an asset
- Knowledge of GMPs, including excellent sanitary habits and possess knowledge of HACCP is considered an asset
- Mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting ability
- Good communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team
- Computer skills, including Windows and MS Office
- Must be flexible in terms of shift work and performing other duties as required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- New Bothwell, MB R0A 1C0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
