Guelph, Canada MGM Property Maintenance Full time

MGM is a young ambitious landscaping company located in Guelph seeking motivated individuals to join our team of landscape professionals. We take pride in the service we provide. We are looking for individuals that share our values, attention to detail and strong work ethic.

We currently have position available for a to join our Lawn Maintenance team.

As a property maintenance crew leader, you will work alongside 2-3 laborers to maintain lawn and garden areas. The position involves grass cutting, regular weeding of garden beds. Pruning of plants as appropriate for variety and species of plant. Application of mulch to beds. Application of fertilizer. Gather and remove litter, sweep and wash parking lots and sidewalks, keep properties clean and visually appealing. It involves operating various pieces of equipment and minor routine maintenance of all utilized equipment may also be required. During the winter months this position will involve salting of sidewalks by hand and with a mechanical spreader, hand shovelling of sidewalks and porches, operation of a skid steer and various other snow clearing equipment, filling salt bins.

- Has a valid G Ontario Driver license with a clean abstract.
- Can safely operate vehicles, trailers and powered equipment, such as zero turn mowers, tractors, line trimmers, leaf blowers, chain saws, clippers, sod cutters.
- This position is outdoors with hours varying depending on weather. Being safety oriented is the first priority. A high level of customer service and strong work ethic.

**Experience**:

- lawn maintenance: 1 year (required)
- snow removal: 1 year (preferred)
