**Tabor Village is accepting resumes for HEALTH CARE ASSISTANT in our Long-Term care site. ** Our team is made up of passionate individuals working together for the common goal of providing heartfelt senior care in keeping with Tabor Village’s Mission, Vision, and Value’s.
- Under the direction of the Director of Resident Care/RN/LPN, assists residents with the activities of daily living, including personal, social, physical, spiritual and recreation needs.
- All duties are performed in a manner conducive to the safety, comfort, and dignity of the resident. Guided by the Mission and Values, the HCA operates with an attitude of caring and competency guided by the policies and procedures of Tabor Village.
Successful applicant must have:
- Demonstrate ability to work under time constraints.
- Demonstrate ability to work alone or under team setting.
- Short notice availability an asset
- Experience working with seniors an asset.
- Strong work ethic
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain supportive relationships with residents and their families.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and prioritize work.
**Required: The applicant must be prepared to work shift work and weekends. Applicants must be currently registered under the BC Care Aid and Health Care registry and be in good standing.**
If the course is completed and HCA registry is in process, applicants are still encouraged to apply.

Pay: $29.83 per hour
