**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Produce Manager to join our team. As the Produce Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our produce department, ensuring that our selection of fresh fruits and vegetables meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming shopping experience, working closely with our team to maintain a well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing produce section.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage the ordering, receiving, and stocking of produce items to maintain freshness and quality.
- Ensure proper rotation of products to minimize waste and maximize shelf life.
- Lead a small team, providing training and guidance on produce handling, customer service, and merchandising.
- Monitor inventory levels and sales trends to optimize stock levels and product selection.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing produce department.
- Assist customers with produce selection, answering questions, and providing recommendations.
- Work closely with vendors to source high-quality, locally grown produce whenever possible.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and store policies.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a produce department or related role within a grocery or retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of fruits, vegetables, and fresh produce handling techniques.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for fresh, high-quality food and a commitment to sustainability.
