This role sits within Laurentian Bank, a subsidiary of Laurentian Bank Financial Group and can be performed anywhere in Canada.
Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Product management & Strategy Credit Cards, the Product Manager is responsible for providing analytical support to inform portfolio management and product development & enhancement strategies to help grow the business while "helping our customers improve their financial health".
They will develop and maintain product performance dashboards for assigned products; report on leading indicators; and be accountable for gathering detailed competitive intelligence to benchmark and assess the Bank's position within the marketplace.

**Responsibilities**:
º This role will provide strong analytical support to inform portfolio management - and deliver initiatives that drive product profitability, performance, policy and pricing strategies within the competitive environment
º Support the ongoing management of all aspects of the product portfolio including sales, share analysis, research, metrics reporting, competitive positioning reviews and create action plans [as required] to enhance the product performance
º Contribute to cross-channel product planning (annual view) and support product development, enhancements and builds end-to-end
º Analyze and evaluate new and existing products in terms of market potential, relevance, competitive differentiation, channel and alignment with the Bank's business objectives
º Possess a strong understanding of customer behaviours, what customers value and their data - and translate those findings to inform/optimize product strategies and/or find efficiencies or enhanced customer adoption/experience
º Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver programs that support the financial plan - and find new ways to improve portfolio KPIs
º Anticipate and identify emerging trends impacting the business and/or product performance
º Develop and maintain product performance dashboards, business-casing and campaign post-mortems
º Keep abreast of changes in regulations in order to ensure that the department's procedures, projects and practices evolve accordingly
º Serve as product champion, ensuring organizational alignment against product objectives
**Qualifications**:
º University Degree in a related field and 4 to 6 years of product development & management experience
º 3-5 years of financial services experience, product management, product analytics, operational and/or financial experience; with solid understanding of product performance indicators
º Strong knowledge of digitized product solutioning and best practices, as we further advance our digital banking agenda
º Demonstrated experience with market evaluations, financial analysis, business case development, product pricing, new product design, and planning
º Strong product, planning and project management skills - self-motivated and results oriented individual with strong leadership, decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills
º Creative, strategic and 'agile' thinker who challenges the status quo - possesses the ability to data mine to identify trends and/or areas of opportunities
º A highly effective communicator with well-developed presentation skills
º Gives meaning to data; insightful, interpretative and communicative - sets goals and defines metrics for success
º Strong relationship management, negotiation and influencing skills
º Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established timelines.
º High degree of collaboration - contributes to a positive work culture
º Bilingual (French/English) verbal and written communication skills are assets
