**Mechanical Project Coordinator (New Construction)**
Ashton Mechanical Group is growing We are currently hiring for **a Mechanical Project Coordinator (New Construction)** to join our growing **Mechanical Construction Division** This position has room for potential future advancement into a Project Manager role. **Responsibilities**
- Assist the Project Manager with administration of multiple projects simultaneously, from launch phase until completion
- Provide support to the Senior Estimator during tendering phase of all projects
- Coordinate tender process with clients, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers etc...
- Create and issue quotes/proposal submission documents
- Assist with change order pricing
- Assist with procurement and delivery of project materials and equipment
- Coordinate subcontractors to keep all projects on schedule and on budget
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers, consultants, clients, and end users
- Collect and organize field documentation from Foremen and Superintendent
- Attend weekly department meetings and project meetings as required
- Other duties as deemed required by the Senior Project Manager
**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a successful project coordinator, project manager, or estimator in the mechanical contracting industry
- Post secondary degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a combination of relevant education and experience
- Must have experience in industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) new construction
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Procore
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Cost control: experience working with and adhering to budgets
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports etc.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions using sound judgement
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an excellent command of the English language
- Ability to reliably travel to our office in Richmond BC
**Salary**: From $80,000.00 per year
