Global Pet Foods in The Greater Moncton Area are currently seeking Bilingual Full-time Pet Care Specialists.

General responsibilities of a Pet Care Specialist include, but are not limited to:

- Providing excellent customer service
- Meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales targets
- Inventory maintenance and merchandising
- Store cleanliness
- Undergoing frequent product training
- Representing Global Pet Foods at local trade shows and events
- Assist with job shadowing for new employees
- Practice Health & Safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

Job requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to work days, weekends and evenings at all 3 locations
- Ability to lift 40 lbs regularly and stand for long periods of time a must
- Reliable transportation
- Sales, retail or customer service experience
- Cash management experience
- Passion for animals
- Strong communication, problem solving & numeracy skills.
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn
- Committed, reliable, flexible, self-motivated
- Energetic, positive attitude, open to change
- Polite, respectful, trustworthy.
- Bilingual Speaking (French/English)
- Read and write in English and french
- An education in basic animal and/or human nutrition and experience working or volunteering in a zoo or shelter would be considered assets.
- Owning a pet or pets is a definite asset.

Nous embauchons 1 conseiller(ère) à la vente à temps plein.

Les responsabilités générales comprennent, mais ne se limitent pas à:

- Offrir un excellent service à la clientèle
- Atteindre et dépasser les objectifs de vente quotidiens, hebdomadaires et mensuels
- Maintenir l'inventaire et la présentation des produits
- Maintenir la propreté du magasin
- Suivre régulièrement des formations sur les produits
- Représenter Global Pet Foods lors des expositions commerciales et d'événements locaux
- Encadrer les nouveaux employés avec les procédures de travail
- Respecter les politiques et les procédures de santé et de sécurité
- D'autres tâches sont assignées

Exigences du poste:

- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou l’équivalent
- Disponibilité pour travailler les jours, les fins de semaine et les soirs
- Très à l'aise et accessible aux médias électroniques (formation, Facebook, E-mail, blogs, etc.)
- La capacité de soulever régulièrement 40 livres et à rester debout pendant de longues périodes est indispensable.
- La capacité de utiliser une échelle.
- Moyen de transport fiable
- Expérience en vente ou en service à la clientèle
- Expérience en gestion de caisse
- Passion pour les animaux
- Solides compétences en matière de communication, de résolution de problèmes et de calcul.
- Volonté d'apprendre
- Engagé, fiable, flexible et motivé
- Politesse et respect
- Bilinguisme (français et anglais) à l’oral et à l’écrit
- Une formation en nutrition animale et/ou humaine de base et une expérience de travail
