**About us**

Seriously Green Farms is a year-round indoor aquaponic microgreen farm, dedicated to sustainability and delivering high-quality produce to the Niagara region.

We are currently seeking a driven and hard-working Assistant Grower who shares our passion for indoor agriculture and sustainability.

Qualifications:

- Passion for sustainability and urban farming
- Understanding of horticulture/agriculture (an asset)
- Valid G license
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to work in a fast paced job to meet performance indicators
- Highly self-motivated with keen attention to detail
- Ability to develop, implement, and manage new processes

**Job Description**:

- Part-time position
- 5-10 hours per week
- Hourly rate: $18
- Flexible start and end dates, as well as work schedule
- Work days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

Responsibilities include:

- Harvesting and packing microgreens and edible flowers
- Sowing a variety of microgreens
- Watering crops
- Tray cleaning and composting
- Maintenance of aquaponic systems
- Assisting in building farm expansion projects

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience with indoor sustainable aquaponics systems and small farm management. The flexible work hours make this job ideal for students seeking a flexible schedule.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 5-10 per week

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
