**We are looking for a cook to be a key person in our newly launched food stand: Dyment's Burgers.**

**Dyment's Burgers **is a food stall located at Dyment's Market. It has a simple menu, serving up fresh smash burgers, sandwiches and sides. Operating hours will be Thursday - Sunday, noon - 7pm. Located in a beautiful open air county environment, we hope to make it a destination for food lovers.

The **Cook **will be trained by the Director of Culinary to prepare food and take orders in accordance with our standard. Once fully trained, the cook is accountable for everything that leads to successful operations of the food stall. This includes cooking, taking food orders, managing inventory and cleaning their station.

This is a seasonal role, beginning in June and ending in October. Standard schedule will be in line with the business hours noted above (Thursday - Sunday, noon - 7pm) plus a half day on Wednesday's to do any required prep.

**Responsibilities**
- Execute a smoothly functioning operation and strive to consistently optimize the customer experience
- Train and develop team members to maximize performance & growth
- Lead by example and maintain a positive work environment.
- Ensure you maintain proper, clean uniforms, with special attention to “guest perception”
- Understand and abide by municipal Health & Safety standards
- Ensure that the cleaning schedule is followed by everyone after each service and exercising proper methods to prevent equipment damages

**Work Experience Requirements**
- 2 years’ experience in the food industry is an asset.
- Degree/Diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality or equivalent is an asset but not required

This is why Glen Drummond Farm is commonly and affectionately referred to as “Dyment’s Farm”. The Farm is comprised of (1) a Barn Event Venue for weddings and special events and (2) a country Market and Bakery.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
