Cylindrical Grinder

Responsibilities:

- Operate and maintain grinding machines to grind metal workpieces according to specifications
- Accurately use micrometers and verniers to measure precise dimensions to within.001"
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings to determine grinding requirements
- Set up and adjust grinding machines to achieve desired results
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on grinding machines as needed
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

**Experience**:

- Previous experience operating grinding machines or similar equipment preferred
- Familiarity with lathe, plasma cutting, laser cutting, milling machine, and other machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments
- Knowledge of welding, fabricating, and assembly techniques is a plus
- Forklift operation experience is a plus
