As part of Henry Schein One, Exan’s products support the Canadian Dental Practice Management and Global Academic-Dental markets. Our on-premise products are well established with strong customer loyalty while our cloud product customer base is growing every year.

We are looking for a Group Product Manager to lead the Academic product portfolio. You’ll act as a player/coach - managing a small team of PMs, while rolling up your sleeves to drive product work of your own. You’re an experienced product leader who has a deep empathy for customers and excels in complex systems thinking to create a seamless customer experience. You thrive on cross-functional collaboration and are excited to partner with engineering, design, sales and support to ensure customers have a delightful end-to-end experience.

The Henry Schein One | Exan Product Management team drives product strategy and execution, translating customer needs and opportunities into a compelling roadmap and working cross-functionally to deliver impactful solutions for dental schools across North America, and beyond. You’ll take part in every type of product work here — from strategy to product to process improvements — conceptualizing, launching, and iterating on the Academic product portfolio. The efforts you drive will have a significant impact on our Academic business. This position reports into the Exan Business GM and will be a **hybrid position**.

**Responsibilities**
- Own the Exan Software product portfolio, including vision, strategy and execution
- Act as a player coach - manage a small team of Product Managers while rolling up your sleeves to drive product work of your own
- Deeply understand customer needs, pain points, and preferences to solve complex problems for our customers through comprehensive customer research and interviews
- Create strategies and roadmaps based on data to inform the product and platform investments we need to make to take our products to the next level
- Prioritize, influence dependencies, and ship experiences that provide game-changing value to our customers
- Partner with various functions across the whole company to bring products to life - engineering, design, sales, marketing, customer support, and more.
- Communicate frequently and clearly with other teams and leaders, and build durable artifacts to drive alignment
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities
- Share knowledge and mentor others

**Qualifications**
- 10+ years designing and delivering world-class B2B, enterprise software products in a product management role
- Experience managing or actively mentoring other product managers
- Proven expertise leading cross-functional teams that together launch software product offerings designed to create a great customer experience and drive meaningful results
- Deeply curious and data-driven; develop and defend strong points-of-view with data, analytics, external benchmarking, and the voice of the customer
- Customer obsessed mindset; you’re constantly thinking about how to solve customer pain points and enjoy engaging with users to validate we are building what they need
- Capable of decomposing a big vision into bite-size milestones with a lean-experiment-oriented perspective
- Excel in cross-functional collaboration within a matrix organization, effectively working across business units to deliver on complex projects
- Effective in communicating progress to executives and senior leadership in terms of outcomes achieved and impact delivered
- Self-aware with a desire to learn and continuously improve
