**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e., chemical engineering, green engineering, environmental science/engineering)
- 5+ years of intermediate-level experience in GHG Canadian regulatory inventory quantification and/or verification
- 2+ years of direct experience with GHG accounting standards (such as the GHG Protocol, ISO 14064) and supporting corporate emissions management
- Previous experience working as a technical consultant
- Proven ability to lead projects and small technical teams
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting, presentations, and proposal contributions

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience conducting Scope 3 value chain GHG assessments (screening level and detailed quantification)
- Progressing towards a professional engineering designation (P.Eng.)
- Knowledge of energy efficiency, GHG management, and decarbonization mechanisms and technologies
- Familiarity with emissions-reduction target setting approaches, including the Science-based Target Initiative
- Direct experience in supporting emissions management within the oil and gas (upstream and midstream) and energy/utilities sectors
- Understanding of low carbon technologies, renewable energy, and emerging technologies such as CCUS, hydrogen, etc.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks such as TCFD, CDP, GRI, SASB, and others
- Experience in GHG emission reduction initiatives and defining decarbonization strategies with cost/benefit analysis
- Experience with mobile emission sources (e.g., cars, trucks, construction/mining equipment, etc.)
- Independent research and analytical skills with a keen interest in staying updated on new standards, certifications, and technologies

**Additional Assets**:

- ISO 14064-1, 14064-2, and/or 14064-3 certification
- Understanding of embodied carbon modeling
- Experience in conducting life cycle assessments with a focus on carbon
- Familiarity with climate and ESG disclosure
- Knowledge and experience with the carbon offset market
