We are a family of 3 (plus a labradoodle) who values kindness, curiosity and staying active. We are looking for a full time nanny who is energetic and enthusiastic about learning, activities and child development.

**Job Title**: Full-Time nanny for one year old child

**Desired Start Date**:August 2nd, 2023 or earlier

**Location**: Victoria (Cordova Bay), British Columbia

**Days/Hours**: 40 hours per week; Tuesday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm (end time negotiable)

**Family**: One year old child and friendly labradoodle.

**Responsibilities**:

- First and foremost childcare; engaging in age-appropriate play, feeding (including meal preparation), changing, managing sleep and feeding routines, ensuring a safe environment, purchasing/ordering child-related items, attending group activities with the child out of the home (music class/playgroups).
- Light housekeeping to include maintaining areas related to the child, household laundry and meal preparation (washing/chopping etc) as time permits.
- Willingness to take on additional household tasks a bonus and comes with higher compensation.

**Requirements**:

- Resume including a record of work and education history
- References
- Child first aid certification
- Clean driving record
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and willingness to carry out assigned tasks with accountability for results.
- Reliable with a positive work attitude.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in infant care and childhood development.

**Working conditions**:

- Comfortable working in a quiet home environment with one child.
- Comfortable taking our child to music classes and activities in the community to interact with other children.
- Enjoys spending time outdoors.

**Other**: Driver’s license an asset. Willingness to travel an asset.

**Wages**:

- $25/hr - 32$/hr dependent on experience and agreed upon duties
- 3 weeks paid vacation, 5 paid sick days
- Extended health benefits available
