**About the role**:
Under the general direction of the Director of adult justice services or their designate and the immediate supervision of the Housing Coordinator the Reintegration Worker will perform various tasks related to building maintenance program support / development and general assistance with the residents.

**Education**:Post - secondary degree or Diploma in the Social Sciences programs or equivalent

**Training**:Willingness to be trained in required skill areas

**Language**:English verbal and written communication

**Training Preferred**:

- ASIST Training
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention
- Ability to obtain a reliability security clearance
- Provide a Vulnerable Record Check
- First Aid & CPR
- Mental Health First Aid
- Urinalysis Testing

**You’ll also be prepared to**

Maintenance/ Cleaning Responsibilities
- General cleanliness of all offices, washrooms, windows, and common areas
- Preparation of rooms for new arrivals
- Ensure Reintegration Workers secure the apartment (packing, labeling, and storing of the personal belongings) upon unplanned departures in a timely manner; and other tasks that may be identified by the Housing Coordinator, and or the Case Worker
- Ensuring Residents adhere to General cleanliness of their apartments
- To report any health and safety and maintenance concerns of the building to the coordinator

Building/ Activity Monitoring
- Review the logbook on arrival of shifts, maintain detailed notes of important daily activities in Logbook
- Review CCTV
- Provide the Residents access to the medication and monitor intake
- Complete SRR security checks as per policy and procedures and ensure it is documented in the log book and the appropriate form
- To wear security pentants at all times

Program Representation/ Community Relations
- The Reintegration Worker must have a firm grasp on the Correctional Services of Canada mandate and statement of work identified in our contract
- Reviewing, understanding and acknowledging the Ste Anne Residence Policy and Procedure Manual

Program Level Responsibilities
- Facilitates case planning process is to support people in achieving their goals
- Monitors and promotes practices that support people's health and safety
- Supporting daily la living and life skills
- Assist resident to clean and maintain private and communal spaces
- Participate in planned leisure activities with individuals and groups
- Provide emergency crisis intervention and support
- Referrals and linkages to appropriate community resources
- Carries out specific administrative duties as required
- Clearly document all client activity
- Support facilitation of groups housing meetings and other activities in the Coordinators absence
- Motivate and role model social leisure and healthy living skills
- Support any further call ma relevant duties that may be developed or assigned by the Residential Coordinator or the Case Worker
