**Position Overview**: We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to oversee and lead human resources operations for our company in North America, focusing on Canada and the USA. The Senior HR Manager will play a critical role in developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and initiatives in alignment with the company's objectives and culture.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute HR strategies to support the company's goals and expansion plans in North America.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide HR guidance on talent acquisition, retention, performance management, employee engagement and organizational development.
- Oversee recruitment efforts, ensuring the attraction, selection, and onboarding of top talent across different locations.
- Implement and maintain HR policies, procedures, and compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws in Canada and the USA.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, including performance reviews, training programs, benefits and career development opportunities.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, benchmarking against industry standards and ensuring competitiveness.
- Handle employee relations matters, conflict resolution, and provide counsel on HR-related issues.
- Collaborate with global HR counterparts to ensure consistency in HR practices and policies while adapting them to regional needs.
- Drive a positive and inclusive culture of continuous improvement.
- Own team bonding and social activities, in person and virtually.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a senior HR role within North America.
- In-depth knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations in both Canada and the USA.
- Strong leadership skills with experience developing teams.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CHRL) is a plus.
