What’s it like working as a Financial Analyst, Business Reporting at Community Trust Company?
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Reporting, the Financial Analyst, Business Reporting will play a key role in the driving key stress tests on the budget model for ICAAP and Risk Management purposes and be an active partner in regulatory reporting with particular focus on capital adequacy. This role will also support additional regulatory changes and the soon to be launched bank readiness initiative. This position requires a critical eye, solid analytical skills, advanced skills in Excel, and excellent attention to detail.

**In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment (ICAAP) Stress Testing
- Leading and developing stress test scenarios and produce forecast / budget models as part of the ICAAP process.
- Performing scenario analysis based on the instructions provided by the Risk Management team in accordance with the ICAAP guidelines.
- Working closely with the Risk Management team on evaluating the results of stress tests and scenario analyses.
- Preparing and maintaining reports, providing value added analysis on the stress tests performed.
- Continuously improving the stress testing model to bring about efficiencies in time and effort.

Regulatory Reporting
- Leading in preparation of returns focused on capital adequacy (BCAR).
- Creating and monitoring other returns for an effective business continuity plan.
- Proactively responding to, and addressing changes in the regulatory environment.
- Designing and producing regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards for regulators and executive level reviews.
- Efficiently and accurately processing, plus continuously enhancing, the reporting and data management requirements for capital reporting databases.

- Have a professional designation or working towards one (CPA, CFA).
- Are a University graduate, business/accounting specialization.
- Have 2-3 years of experience in financial reporting, treasury, risk management, accounting or system implementation roles
- Have experience with ICAAP and Stress Testing as well as risk management
- Are proficient with Microsoft Windows/ MS Office Applications, NetSuite.
- Have advanced Microsoft Excel skills with experience manipulating and arranging large data sets using Pivot tables, Vlookup, and formulas.
- Have strong business acumen and analytical skills including ability to conduct quantitative analysis.
- Have solid attention to detail and accuracy, while being able to step back to consider the impacts on the consolidated entity.
- Have the aptitude to work with large amounts of data and to manipulate, arrange and manage it effectively.
- Have the ability to recognize issues and take initiative to work on finding an effective solution.
- Have the ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
- Bring a positive, can-do attitude to our organization, using creative solutions to solve problems.
- Establish and build on healthy working relationships with your team and peers.
- Use open communication and collaboration to solve problems and manage deliverables.
