Administration Part-time New Contract Position (January 31, 2025 - January 31, 2026)

**Responsibilities**:
**Staff training and development**
- Develops and implements IELTS standards through processes, policies, and training for all test day staff for Conestoga College; ensures compliance, uniformity and best practices across all locations within Canada
- Oversees the delivery of communications to be distributed to test day staff based on common issues or questions, including pre and post-test communications and annual newsletters
- Supports with organizing and chairing all Canada staff meetings and other meetings as needed

**Customer service and operations leadership**
- Ensures the Conestoga IELTS Test Centre operates in accordance with the standards established by the IELTS partners (University of Cambridge, the British Council and International Development Program (IDP) Australia, CELPIP partners as well as other language testing partners
- Oversees the delivery, packing, logístical needs and delivery of the exams at 20+ locations across Canada, including language tests on computers

**Administrative leadership, partnerships and marketing**
- Participates in escalated on-call responsibilities for the Test Centre’s test days
- Develops a strong technical and operational knowledge of IELTS, CELPIP and MPT technological systems, both remote and on-site, to provide operational support and improve the overall effectiveness of Conestoga’s IELTS Test Centre
- Develops and maintains new partnerships and venues in markets where Conestoga is underserved and utilizes current campus locations to improve the student experience
- Provides leadership for the development and continuous improvement of operational processes for Conestoga staff
- Promotes and markets by attending events and participating in promotional activities
- Proactively investigates, researches, and implements new tests for the testing centre which fit into its strategic plan and overall operational direction
- Acts as the primary contact with new testing partners in compiling requirements, coordinating logistics and operationalizing new tests

**Payroll and part-time contracts**
- Assists in maintaining the payroll on a weekly basis
- Enter Examiner hours
- Develops annual contracts for all casual part-time staff and new hires

**Qualifications**:

- Three-year diploma or degree in a relevant field of study is required
- Minimum two years of relevant coordination experience working in a high-volume industry is required; management experience is preferred
- Experience working with individuals where English is not a first language is considered an asset
- Proven project management, organizational and coordination skills with a demonstrated ability to succeed in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Self-directed with initiative and drive to succeed
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in person and remotely with diverse external and internal stakeholders
- Proven ability to negotiate, influence and build consensus
- High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and thoroughness with the ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
