Sales Representative

The Mass Timber Industry is expanding rapidly, and we are growing along with it. Western Archrib is looking to add a Billet Sales Representative to our team. You are passionate about wood, sustainability, and committed to personal service. You are knowledgeable about various building materials and the construction industry. You understand that Sales and Estimating are not the same, but that they are tightly intertwined. The right person for this role will be able to communicate effectively with Dealers and Distributors to understand their specific requirements and generate an accurate list of material to effectively support the Sales team.
Start Date: Immediate
Location: to be determined
**Responsibilities**:
- Review enquiries from Dealers, Distributors, and Customers.
- Correspond with customers virtually and in person.
- Prepare budget estimates and quotes.
- Daily input of data into our CRM.
- Track and follow up on quoted work to achieve sales targets.
- Be proactive in driving new business and increased business with current customers.
- Generating orders for production.
**Qualifications**:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to read and understand architectural and structural drawings.
- Strong computer skills including file download and transfer.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office and Teams.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Education in engineering, architecture, construction, or related experience will be an asset.
