**Job Title**: Nutrition Supervisor

**Status**: Part Time

**Schedule**: 3-8 hour shifts/week - days, evenings and weekends availability including an on call schedule

**Salary**: $24.00/ Hour

**Start Date**: October 16, 2023

**Responsibilities**:

- Train staff in customer service/engagement with residents
- Audit customer service feedback and provide updates to the team
- Complete regular operational food service audits on Care Centres and kitchen; prepare corrective action plans and share with the multidisciplinary team.
- Cover for the Nutrition Manager when on leave
- Perform clinical work in PCC (PointClickCare) as required and updates to nutrition tools
- Work collaboratively with teams as well as the dietitian
- Reinforce a strong safety culture and make recommendations for corrective action
- Conduct orientation meetings with new staff
- Meet with Nutrition department staff monthly to provide positive feedback and education
- Order weekly food supplies, maintain budget levels
- Assist with menu development and implementation
- Promote a positive work environment
- Assist with organizing and planning catering events
- Interactions with residents, families, medical team and suppliers

**Qualifications**:

- Active Member of Canadian Society of Nutrition Manager
- Diploma in Food and Nutrition Management
- A current Food Safety Training Certificate
- Red Seal Certificate an asset or Culinary Management
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Power Point and Outlook
- Demonstrates strong leadership abilities and experience leading a team
- American Sign Language
- Solid verbal and written communication skills as well as organizational skills

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
