Reporting directly to the Vice President - Operations, you’ll work in a small team environment where you will have the ability to work with some of the industry’s greatest talent.

This is an exciting role that will contribute to your professional development by providing you a breadth of experience, which will expand your ability to think critically, handle difficult situations, and further develop your interpersonal skills. An **Electrical Project Manager** at Hardie has the opportunity to be involved in all phases of a project from the bidding stage to project close out. You will also be able to work hand in hand at project sites with Hardie’s Forepersons, Electricians, and Apprentices to see a job through to its successful completion.

More specifically, the **Electrical Project Manager** will be responsible for:

- Defining the goals and objectives of the projects, including forecasting and planning of all resources, costs and schedules,
- Ensuring time on projects is managed effectively, determining when various project components are to be completed, and by whom,
- Effectively managing costs, resources, and timelines on all projects and keeping projects within or under budget,
- Participating in targeting and developing strategy to acquire new customers as well as, promoting all of Hardies’ business offerings to current customers,
- Ensuring compliance with the _Occupational Health and Safety Act_requirements, including ensuring staff are following proper PPE procedures and company and customer health and safety policies and safe work practices.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

- A technical diploma from a Community College, or equivalent working experience,
- Certification in Project Management would be an asset,
- You must possess a valid 309A Electrical License and be an active member with Skilled Trades Ontario,
- Five or more years’ experience as a Foreperson, and a minimum of one year of electrical project management experience,
- Possessing a valid class G Driver’s License, or better, with a clean driving record,
- Experience in an industrial construction environment is preferred,
- Experience in food and beverage/brewing, chemical processing, power generation, and/or municipal water and wastewater treatment would be considered an asset,
- Experience performing estimates and budget development for projects, as well as having a proven track record of effectively managing projects to keep them within or under budget,
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed a customers’ expectations.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $106,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
