Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Counselor to join our team. As a Counselor, you will provide support and guidance to individuals in need, helping them navigate through challenging situations and improve their overall well-being.
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct individual counseling sessions with patients to assess their needs and develop treatment plans
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of treatment
- Assist in the development and implementation of therapeutic programs for patients
- Conduct research to stay updated on the latest counseling techniques and best practices
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
- Participate in case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment strategies
- Keeping track of patience appointments and payments
- Direct billing
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling or a related field
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with pediatric care
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient in data collection and analysis techniques
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay: $75.00-$110.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
