**About us**

Proudly Canadian-owned and operated, we have been sourcing and supplying Library and Archival products to Customers across Canada and around the world for more than 50 years.

We are seeking a Shipper/Receiver to join our team at Carr McLean Limited. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments of library supplies. The position requires excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills to ensure all orders are accurately processed and delivered to customers on time.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive and process incoming orders and supplies, including unloading deliveries and inspecting contents for damage or discrepancies
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking and packing orders, labeling packages, and arranging for shipping through appropriate carriers
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels and identifying discrepancies or issues
- Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of the shipping and receiving area, including organizing and cleaning the warehouse and equipment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) as needed

Work Schedule:
The position is full-time with a 4-day work week (Monday to Thursday). The work schedule is from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with a half-hour unpaid lunch break. The position may require additional hours during peak times.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
