**THE POSITION**

**ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Host and execute in-game content as outlined by Game Presentation staff.
- Engage fans to participate in contesting and live promotions.
- Provide an entertaining and exciting voice to the Calgary Hitmen to work alongside a PA Announcer.
- Conduct live interviews with special guests, celebrities, team alumni, etc.
- Opportunity to represent the Calgary Hitmen at community events as a host.
- Host sponsor events around the City of Calgary in partnership with the Calgary Sports and Entertainment Corporation.
- Active participation in the Safety Program and follow all safety rules.
- All other duties as assigned.

**THE INDIVIDUAL**
- Prior experience with public speaking and performing in a hosting role.
- Working knowledge of the Calgary Hitmen, WHL and the game of hockey.
- Strong interpersonal and public speaking ability.
- Must be comfortable performing in front of large crowds and in front of a camera.
- Ability to improvise and quickly respond to last minute requests.
- Schedule flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts.
- Background in performing arts, broadcasting and acting is preferred.
