**Job Description**:
**WHAT'S THE JOB?**

As the **Procurement Manager**, you will support our modular construction projects across Canada by planning procurement, logistics and distribution for each project while working closely with Project Execution, Design, and Preconstruction to ensure cost effectiveness and reduced wastes through constant analysis of processes.

**Your work will include**:

- Managing the tactical supply chain department.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers & subcontractors.
- Design, implement and maintain new and existing supply chain processes.
- In conjunction with the Strategic Sourcing Team and Operations, establishing and managing Key Performance Indicators such as lead time, fill rates, and on time deliveries.
- Support and develop roles of subordinates in all departments that fall within the NRB Supply chain.
- Communicate and work closely with plants and transport in constantly improving cost effectiveness of shipments to NRB sites.
- Inform superiors about any observations (as receiving, safety, or damage material or property, etc).
- Process incoming requisitions - fill, forward to purchasing, file.
- Prepare purchase orders.
- Oversee purchasing department and a team of up to 10 staff across Canada.
- Purchasing of construction materials, supplies, tools, and equipment.

**Qualifications**:
**WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- 5+ years of experience as a Supply Chain leader is required.
- SCMP designation an asset.
- Able to demonstrate organizational time management and decisions-making skills.
- Able to work individually and as a team member able to safely.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a team of employees effectively and efficiently.
