**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Administers strategic initiatives for external advertising to maximize recruitment efforts and expand the reach for postings
- Track key recruitment metrics to provide insight items such as time-to-fill, source-of-hire, etc
- Organize company’s participation to various external hiring events, such as career fairs, campus recruitment, etc.
- Champions HR as a service/support center and believes in building a service-focused HR model and team through responsive, engaging, creative and functional solutions in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and support new hire on-boarding and utilizing our HRIS ensure we have all relevant payroll & corresponding paperwork.
- Champions the employee experience across Blackstone through development, inclusion, diversity, respect, accountability, adaptability etc.
- Other duties as required or inspired

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**
- Post-Secondary education in Human Resources (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Talent Acquisition role(required)
- Experience using Bamboo HRIS or similar HRIS system an asset
- Exemplary writing and editing skills
- Have a strong understanding of the job market and industry trends
- Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations
- Proficient with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Working knowledge of Employment Standards and Human Rights legislation across Canada
- Experience with US Labor law (Federal or State level) considered a strong asset
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with a wide range of individuals in a wide range of situations, which often require tact, diplomacy, and discretion
- Outstanding organizational skills including the ability to work well under pressure and with a strong sense of urgency
- Proven ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive, and often competing deadlines
- Have an extreme attention to detail, accuracy and tracking items to completion
- Proven ability to work with a high level of confidentiality and discretion
- Demonstrated track record in taking initiative, working independently, and handling multiple priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrated high work standards
- Holds self to very high standard of quality and delivery and brings a service-focused approach to their work

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Possesses working knowledge of HRIS (Bamboo preferred)
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of employment legislation
