Legal Coordinator

**Position Summary**:The Legal Coordinator, manages current delinquent accounts by pursuing those tenants through the Landlord and Tenant Board.
**Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate with Operations Managers and Directors re: evictions upon termination dates in Tenancy related Orders.
- Prepare termination notice such as but not limited to Form D, Form J, Form E and A
- Follow up with Operations Managers/Property staff after eviction has been executed.
- Attend residential related hearings
- Respond to tenant inquiries as necessary
- Prepare monthly reports detailing current litigation activity and status
- Coordinates general office and administrative duties including, but not limited to, maintenance of filing systems, preparation of correspondence, reports and spreadsheets
- Screens and sorts all incoming mail
- Schedules hearings and updates calendars
- Coordinates day to day office activities (mailing notices of hearings, preparing certificates of service, corresponding with Legislative Agency)
- Other duties as assigned by Associate Director, Director and VP of Operations
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role in property management
- Extensive knowledge of Residential Tenancies Act
- Paralegal experience an asset
- Knowledge of standard Accounts Receivable
- Experience in a high volume fast paced environment
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in Residential Tenancy Hearings
- Must have a car
