**Your opportunity**:
This position will report into the Associate Director, Welcome Services.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Acting as the first point of contact forgeneral enquiries
- Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate
- Coordinating drop-in appointments to address individual needs
- Reviewing and assessing student records to determine academic standing and informing students of changes
- Updating and maintaining database records
- Providing basic support and general referrals to individuals in distress

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum two years of recent and related experience with student front line service and administrative experience working with students, preferably within the University of Toronto or another post-secondary institution.
- Experience providing front line student support and providing information regarding admissions, fees, enrolment and other student relatedissues.
- Experience preparing routine correspondence.
- Experience working with databases, researching and interpreting data and preparing reports. Experience maintaining student records and files.
- Experience with the University's undergraduate programs, procedures, guidelines and program offerings, or other related post-secondary student program.
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, Word and Excel).
- Demonstrated working knowledge of ROSI or other student related system. Ability to interpret reports from ROSI or other related databases.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be welcoming and professional, able to deal with sometimes difficult and/or demanding individuals.
- Strong organizational skills. Ability to handle multiple inquiries simultaneously, prioritize work, and work under pressure.
- Ability to exercise tact, judgment and diplomacy especially when dealing with confidential information or complaints.
