**Overview**
An exciting and challenging position exists as a Financial Analyst at Vega This role will be a hybrid of remote work and in office days at Vega’s brand new Vancouver location. ’s. Reporting to the Finance Manager, FP&A, you will be responsible for providing financial and analytical support to fulfill forecasting, planning and reporting requirements. **Key Responsibilities**
- Forecasting and reporting
- Support trade actualization activities during month-end close
- Assist in forecasting and monthly variance commentary
- Support annual cost roll process through developing product cost financial models
- Prepare daily sales dashboard to Senior Leadership Team (SLT)
- Corporate reporting, analysis and planning system maintenance
- Update Adaptive planning system for budgeting and forecasting cycles
- Supports design and maintenance of product dashboards and related automated reports to monitor financial performance by product, channel, or key customer
- Develop reports using business intelligence tools as required
- Build financial models and assist in ad-hoc projects as needed to support forecast and business needs
- Assist with P&L builds for upcoming innovation products to assess feasibility
- Reports into Finance Manager, FP&A, and supporting Associate Finance Manager, Trade Finance.

**Skills & Experience**
- You have a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is required. CPA preferred
- You have 1-2 years of progressive financial analysis experience, co-op experience will also be considered
- You have experience in CPG (consumer packaged goods) company, preferred
- You have strong experience in financial analysis and reporting
- You have experience forecasting financial results
- You have exceptional interpersonal skills and values collaboration between teams
- You are advanced Proficiency with MS Excel and financial modeling (PivotTable, vlookup experience with data mining/ manipulation)
- Knowledge of Financial Reporting tools and optimization software preferred (Netsuite, Adaptive, Tableau), training will also be provided
- You understand Accounting principles
- You have high intellectual curiosity and passion for continuous learning
- You are results-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work
- You have strong written, oral, and presentation communication skills required
- You think independently and influence decision making process
- You recognize opportunities to simplify processes and create efficiencies
