Route Specialist

The Route Specialist - Rental is responsible for running routes when assigned Service Sales Representatives (SSR) are not available due to various reasons including but not limited to PTO, LOA, turnover, etc. The Route Specialist will also assist the Service Department in supporting SSRs through route transitions, route clean-up, and training. The Route Specialist is accountable for maintaining the highest level of customer service our customers have come to expect from their assigned SSRs. Responsibilities include:

- Safely operate a Cintas owned vehicle by observing all traffic laws, and compliance with all regulatory requirements and Cintas policies.
- Provide route coverage for the following reasons which include but are not limited to: PTO, LOA, light duty assignments, turnover, etc.
- Provide route coverage and support during times of route transition and route clean up, i.e., when a route is waiting to be assigned a certified SSR.
- Provide Service Department support including holiday schedule coverage, training schedule coverage, junior SSR support, bulk audits, route assistance, and any additional duties the department leaders may need to improve departmental efficiencies.
- Deliver a world class customer experience by performing the following:

- Flawless route rides to assist in retention and growing the current customer base
- Deliver on the four quality absolutes
- CRF management and problem solving
- Inventory control and management
- Execution of all service fundamental tasks (Tru-Count, inventory control, invoice accuracy, soil separation, pick-up and delivery requirements, etc.)
- Route operational efficiency improvements (routing, invoice audits, garment exchange and hygiene area management, truck organization and cleanliness, etc.)
- Participation in location initiatives
- Perform all other duties as assigned, including carrying out responsibilities, using skills, and working in conditions necessary to perform all assigned tasks.

- High School diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years on route - Required.
- Attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions.
