PAL Aerospace is a proud partner of Airbus Defence & Space for the Government of Canada’s Fixed Wing Search and Rescue (FWSAR) aircraft replacement program. Through AirPro (a joint venture between PAL Aerospace & Airbus DS) the AirPro team will be responsible for the In-Service Support which covers all aspects of the maintenance work not undertaken by Royal Canadian Air Force technicians. It will include high value repairs, 2nd and 3rdlevel maintenance, future modification work and depot level maintenance of the aircraft.

In an effort to expand our current team, AirPro is currently looking for a Technical Materials Manager (TMM) to join our Material Coordination Centre (MCC) for the CC295 program to work in beautiful Comox, British Columbia.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Monitoring and managing the end-to-end supply chain.
Initial Parts List (IPL) and spares consumption monitoring -coordinating the demand and resupply of spares, inventory optimization as well as the enforcement of supply discipline. This includes Reorder Point (ROP) management.
Monitoring daily operations at each MOB and the MRO/CW to ensure the ready availability of all items required to effectively support the FWSAR fleet.
Ensuring the delivery of required materiel IAW the appropriate quality standard.
Monitoring/managing inbound & outbound transportation throughout the network, as necessary, including liaison with transportation service providers
AOG oversight and management as required (for both domestic & international shipments)
Ensuring the fulfillment of contractual requirements
R&O management including processing repair order requests from the MOBs/MRO-CW -Monitor quality rejections and follow-up as necessary
Checking warranties and collecting or issuing warranty claims (as applicable)
Ability to learn and master the use of SAP SP1.
Provide support to the AirPro Materiel Co-ordination Centre team with the following tasks:
Support deployment planning, coordination and sustainment;
Consumption monitoring;
Operational & strategic level forecasting;
Analyzing discrepancy root causes and defining/recommending corrective action;
KPI reporting and developing periodic repots for IPT management;
Participating in periodic site visits/audits of FWSAR facilities; and
Supporting continual improvement process initiatives (i.e. Lean or 6 Σ).
Other Duties as assigned.

**Qualifications and skills**:
Bachelors’ Degree in Engineering is preferred;
Technical diploma and/or relevant military training and experience will also be considered;
3 years’ experience in a relevant aerospace In-Service support position;
Experience in effectively analyzing life cycle data to direct the disposition of spare asset;
Strong operational IT knowledge;
Knowledge of SAP SP1 would be considered an asset
Experience in a technical or highly analytical environment;
Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision;
Experience working in a dynamic, fast paced environment;
Critical thinker with careful consideration for detail and accuracy;
Knowledge of airworthiness regulations (Technical Airworthiness Manual) is an asset;
Knowledge of DRMIS is considered an asset;
Knowledge of Microsoft office suite of software products;
Must be able to attain Secret Security Clearance; and
Must be able to travel within Canada and internationally as required.
