This is an exciting opportunity to join a thriving Cardiology Practice at St. Paul’s Hospital with some of the most respected professionals in the industry. As a member of the St. Paul’s Hospital Providence Heart General Cardiology Clinic, you will be a critical member of the support team dedicated to working predominantly with 1 Cardiologist, who is the Physician Lead of General Cardiology and the Medical Director of the Clinic. In addition, you will work alongside other Medical Office Assistants, ensuring you will always have experienced resources to learn from and a strong team to work with. This opportunity provides a valuable and rewarding experience for a long-term permanent position, with regular salary review dependent on performance.

- **JOB DESCRIPTION**:_
- Efficient usage of the iClinic EMR and Cerner EMR or willingness to learn
- Scheduling patients and clinical tests
- Managing referrals
- Billing, including re-submission of rejected billings
- Managing MD schedule, including on-call and meetings
- Maintenance of patient confidentiality
- Explanation of investigations and test preparation (simple terms)**REQUIREMENTS**:

This position requires an efficient, well-organized individual with excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills. Completion of a Medical Office Assistant Program from a recognized institution is preferred.
