L'organisation offre des services de conseil entre pairs sans frais et des maisons de transition pour les femmes et les enfants fuyant la violence ou l'itinérance_, _et anime des ateliers pédagogiques. La mission de la Fondation _N_isa_ _est de transformer les communautés en engageant, en équipant et en enrichissant la vie des femmes et des enfants pour qu'ils atteignent leur plein potentiel._

Sous la supervision du responsable de la santé mentale, le conseiller de soutien est chargé de fournir du mentorat, du soutien émotionnel, de la résolution de problèmes, de l'établissement d'objectifs, de l'évaluation des risques de crise et des références vers d'autres soutiens communautaires. Les conseillers de soutien favorisent l'autonomisation et l'autodétermination grâce à une écoute sans jugement et à l'établissement d'objectifs centrés sur le client. Le conseiller de soutien utilisera le modèle de conseil par les pairs pour aider les résidents à identifier et à atteindre leurs objectifs de vie dans le cadre de leur expérience à Nisa Homes.

**Support client et **développement**
- Organiser des séances de conseil individuelles entre pairs avec les résidents sur une base hebdomadaire pour fixer et atteindre des objectifs, relever les défis et orienter, si nécessaire, vers des ressources externes.
- Développer et mettre en œuvre des groupes de soutien réguliers en matière de santé mentale et de bien-être sur des sujets tels que le renforcement de l'estime de soi, l'autonomisation, les stratégies de soins personnels, la lutte contre la dépression, l'anxiété et le stress. pour les femmes du foyer.
- Utiliser les compétences de base en conseil pour créer une connexion sûre avec le client afin de travailler sur les soins de soutien, les objectifs et les références vers des professionnels communautaires et des ressources pour les besoins continus en matière de SM.
- Travailler avec le résident et son assistant social pour soutenir le processus de logement et l'intégration dans la communauté.

**Entraînement**
- Offrir une formation au personnel et aux bénévoles sur les pratiques tenant compte des traumatismes, les ressources en santé mentale et d’autres formations si nécessaire.
- Responsable de l’affectation et de la supervision des conseillers bénévoles auprès des résidents.
- Assister à la formation dispensée par NF et aux opportunités de formation externes qui sont importantes pour le développement des compétences en conseil.

**Gestion de **cas**
- Participer aux évaluations d'admission si nécessaire pour évaluer l'éligibilité et signalez les signes de références pour des soins accrus de MH.
- Coordonner avec les travailleurs sociaux pour assurer le meilleur service et la meilleure gestion de cas disponibles pour les clients.

**Rapports**
- Résumer/organiser les informations pour la discussion au cas où un cas unique se présenterait pour les résidents actuels aux fins de prise de décision.
- Fournir des mises à jour hebdomadaires au directeur de la maison pour connaître les progrès du client.
- Rendre compte chaque semaine au responsable de la santé mentale pour les séances d'information, les préoccupations, les orientations, le soutien collectif et la gestion de cas.
- Conserver les notes de conseil, les enregistrements d'incidents et autres documents sur la base de données CRM conformément à la réglementation.

**Sensibilisation**
- Assurer la liaison avec d'autres services, agences et professionnels.
- Maintenir les connaissances actuelles sur les problèmes et les ressources liés à la maltraitance et à la violence pour proposer des présentations et des activités de sensibilisation du public sur les services et les problèmes de maltraitance.
- Faciliter le réseautage communautaire, assister à des réunions et à des ateliers au besoin.
