**IT Helpdesk Technician**
- **GTA/Kitchener/Waterloo - Oakville, Full Time, Hybrid role**_
**Position Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:
- Technical support of hardware and software issue
- Ticket creation, categorization, prioritization, and escalation
- Troubleshoot end-user issues with root cause analysis
- Oversee IT contracts and renewal processes
- Collaborate and Support SaaS operations by working with senior IT Admins
- Install, configure, and support our hosted server environments
- Monitor and maintain system and network performance
- Performing after-hour system maintenance (lieu time awarded)
- Upholding company IT Security policies, governance, and compliance standards
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- College or University degree in Computer Science or related area of study
- 1+ year working with Windows Server
- Strong problem solving and technical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning
- **Bonus**:certifications in Microsoft Systems, or Azure
