Jewellery Production Assistant

Marmalade is seeking a self-motivated, hard working, upbeat production assistant.

Marmalade specializes in making sterling silver and bronze charms, rings and other production pieces. We do all of our own casting and finishing in the studio - the assistant does not take part in the metal casting process. We operate in a safe, clean, well-ventilated environment and choose to use as few chemicals as possible - ie. Vinegar pickle, corn starch for removing wax from molds, safer flux etc.

Job Requirements:
Basic jewellery finishing skills, soldering, wax injecting, constructing wax trees, grinding sprues, wire wrapping gemstones, general jewellery assembly, packing orders, helping to envision and construct new designs.

ALSO

Basic website updating - uploading photos, descriptions etc. Social media expertise would be an asset.

Hours:
This is a part-time position (24 hours to start), with the potential of becoming full time.

**Location**:
9 Davies Ave. (Queen and Broadview) in a bright studio space.

Pay:
$19/ hour

Hard-worker, self-motivated, self-directed, knowledgeable about jewellery trends, precise techniques, desire to contribute to the growth and development of the company.

**Salary**: From $19.00 per hour
