Academy of Learning College is actively seeking Financial Aid Assistants to join our workforce

**Primary Responsibilities**:
The primary responsibility of a Financial Aid Assistant is to guide students in their search for educationally-related financial assistant (OSAP, Second Career/Better Jobs Ontario, WSIB, etc) and determine their eligibility. They will assist students

The FAA will support the vision, mission, and values of AOLCC College while contributing to a positive, supportive and student-focused team environment of respect, integrity, dedication and readiness; embracing diversity and fostering inclusion.

**FAA's will**:

- Provide excellent customer service
- Attention to detail
- Monitor and complete student files
- Administer and manage financial aid programs and grants for students
- Provide information and guidance to students on financial aid options and requirements
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of financial aid awards and disbursements
- Ensure compliance with federal and provincial financial aid regulations and policies
- Collaborate with admissions and academic departments to coordinate financial aid services with student enrollment and course selection
- Analyze and evaluate financial aid data to identify trends and make recommendations for improving financial aid programs
- Prepare financial aid reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

**Applicants must have**:

- Excellent phone skills and customer service
- Accounting is an asset
- MS office / Office productivity suite tools
- 40 Words per minute
- Post secondary education
- Be personable, presentable, friendly

**Salary**: Depends on number of years in office administration, leadership experience, self starter, command of written and verbal English communication.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Work Location: In person

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
