Nike - Assistant Manager/coach (Back of House)

**Are you ready?**

As our Nike Back of House Coach, you will be reporting to the Head Coach, (Store Manager) to effectively execute all back of house related tasks.

What you'll do:

- Assisting the Store Manager (Head Coach) by managing the back of house function / team
- Performing store management functions in absence of Head Coach
- Coordinating and supervises the daily activities of business support staff
- Setting priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with other supervisors
- Recruiting and hiring top talent to ensure a diverse and energetic work environment
- Setting priorities for employees to meet daily deadlines; developing plans to meet short-term objectives
- Communicating with Visual team and/or oversee physical site maintenance
- Be accountable for Salesfloor standards (replenishment, folding standards, size runs, etc.)
- Reports to Store Manager ensuring work duties are accurately performed
- Monitors the flow of all shipments and ensures prompt follow up with discrepancies
- Ensure all stock areas are neat, clean and orderly per company standard
- Perform box counts and validate against bills of lading, ensuring discrepancies, shortages or damages are reported immediately
- Assist selling floor with product placement and stock replenishment
- Ensure cash wraps are fully stocked with operational supplies

What you'll bring:

- Minimum 2 year back of house managerment experience with a sports/fashion retailer
- Ability to think conceptually and diagnose and translate sales/category reporting to an in-store merchandising strategy
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members.

What we'd love to see:

- Extensive retail experience including 2+ years experience in management
- Enthusiasm and passion about sports and / or sports fashion
- Availability to work weekends, evenings and holidays, and some overnights as required.
