**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Technician. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining telecommunications equipment and services for Telecom customers. Additionally, the Field Technician will be expected to provide excellent customer service and work independently while adhering to safety regulations and standards.

**Requirement - NEED TO GET OWN VAN AND TOOLS.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Install and repair TELUS Home Services (Home phone, internet, IPTV, and Smart Home Security).
- Trace, install, and terminate telephone wiring, data wiring (cat 5e and cat 6), coaxial wiring and fiber optics wiring.
- Promote and sell TELUS products (commission available)
- Explain/discuss details regarding progress, issues, and applicable charges.
- Meet company quality standards and key performance metrics.
- Complete administration responsibilities accurately and timely
- Gather supplies and equipment from designated warehouse.

**Qualifications**
- Prior experience in telecommunications or a related field
- Previous experience with TELUS or Shaw is an asset
- Familiarity with telecommunications equipment and systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights up to 30 feet
- Certification or training in safety regulations and standards is a plus

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- Day shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Commission pay
