Reports to: Housekeeping Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks in guest rooms, such as checking and repairing plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units.

Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to identify potential maintenance issues.

Respond promptly to real-time maintenance requests from guests, front desk, or housekeeping staff, ensuring mínimal disruption to guest satisfaction.

Collaborate with the housekeeping manager to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner.

Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and systems, following established procedures and schedules.

Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and inventory of supplies and equipment.

Adhere to safety and environmental regulations, ensuring the safety of guests and staff, and proper disposal of hazardous materials.

Communicate effectively with team members and other departments, providing updates on maintenance issues and progress.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including storage and maintenance areas.

Assist with other general maintenance duties as required, such as painting, carpentry, and landscaping.

**Requirements**:
High school diploma or equivalent.

1-3 years of experience in maintenance, preferably within the hospitality industry.

Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC maintenance and repair.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

Basic computer skills for record keeping and communication.

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.
