Toronto, Canada Torex Gold Resources Inc. Full time

**Qualifications**:

- University degree with preference for business and/or communications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Investor Relations
- Proficient with social media
- Understanding of ESG

**Work Experience**:

- Previous experience in mining industry or capital markets is an asset

**Technical knowledge and skills**:

- Good communication and writing skills
- Proficiency with Office Suite
- CFA designation a plus

**The Job**

Investor Relations supports the Company’s engagement with shareholders and potential shareholders. This role also contributes to the formulation of external communications and plays a key role in ensuring corporate messaging is consistent across the firm.

**_ Internal Communication _**
- Liaise with sites to collect information required for external reporting
- Develop press releases consistent with corporate messaging and manages the publishing process
- Liaise with VP, Exploration and site exploration to collect information required to develop press releases
- Develop and update investor presentations
- Accountable for ongoing updates to website ensuring information is accurate, up to date and consistent with corporate messaging
- Develops ad-hoc messages from CEO to analyst community, including development of context messages
- Supports the development of social media posts consistent with corporate messaging and publishes approved posts; tracks social media related to the Company
- Verifies information posted by partners is accurate
- Maintains calendar of industry specific events as well as peer hosted events

**_
Shareholder Outreach _**
- Develops responses for leadership team to support questions from institutional investors
- Manages the full set of logistics for conferences including booking schedules and travel logistics
- Follow up with key small to medium investors post earnings and other important communications; meet with investors to develop relationships and answer questions
- Develops shareholder investor meeting packages for Executive team; attend meeting with Executive team as the Investor Relations representative as required
- Develop shareholder targeting report, leverage this report to prioritize targeting of new shareholders and establishing engagement plan

**_Managing Relationships with Analysts _**
- Support information gathering to support providing context and information to analysts.
- Maintain internal database post earnings, ensuring information entered is accurate and up to date
- Send summary of analysts’ consensus to analyst ahead of key production and earnings reports
- Identify areas where analysts are appearing off base and/or where consensus amongst analysts is diverging to Team Leader
- Relationship Management
- Develop relationships with new and existing analysts and associates, gleaning market intelligence
- Manage day to day communications with analyst and associates, providing answers to questions

**_Other accountabilities:_**
- **Retail Investors**
- Develop answers to questions from retail investors
- Liaise with external group, ensuring comms to retail investors is consistent and positive
- Track ROI on retail investors
- ** Market Intelligence**:Develop and maintain internal databases on performance of operational metrics
- **Board and Management Update**:Develop reports for Board Reporting and management
