**JOB SUMMARY**:
BD-Canada seeks to hire a Full-time Marketing Summer Student who will support the Medication Delivery Solutions (MDS) Business unit. BD-Canada seeks a talented, energetic student who will work with MPS marketing team to promote innovation and growth by championing and demonstrating the value proposition of our products.

**SCOPE**:
The Marketing Summer Student will assist the MDS team of Product Managers and Marketing Director with day to day marketing requirements and key projects to support key platforms strategic drivers.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Support the Marketing team with planning and execution of MDS conference calendar and professional education programs.
- Support the day to day requirements of the sales team for literature, samples, and programs.
- Work closely with the Product Managers to contribute to the development and execution of marketing strategies and tactics.
- Conduct key market assessments and make recommendations to the MDS marketing team.
- Work closely with the marketing team to validate content and upload information on newly created website.

**Qualifications**

**EDUCATION**:

- Currently enrolled in a University undergraduate or graduate program (Business or Life Sciences programs preferred).

**KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills
- Bilingualism an asset

**LOCATION**:
BD Canada Headquarters in Mississauga, ON.

Employment is conditional upon successful completion of a detailed background check.

**POSITION DETAILS**:
40 hours per week. May - August 2024
