Larval Rearing Technician

**Position**:Larval Rearing Technician

**Reports to**:Larval Supervisor

**Hours**: 4 days on, 3 days off

**POSITION DETAILS**:

- Work alone and with Larval Supervisor on feeding, cleaning, and conducting environmental checks in the larval building
- Coordinate with Incubation department to ensure larval is ready for newly ponded fish
- Coordinate with Live Feeds department to ensure required feed availability
- Oversee fish counts, grades, vaccinations, and transfers to the farm
- Perform minor maintenance and coordinate with Maintenance department to keep systems running correctly
- Input daily environmental, transfer, weight and feeds data into Aquamanager

**REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated team player who is good at taking initiative
- No direct experience needed, all necessary training will be provided

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**:

- Compensation starts at $23.00/hour based on experience
