**Club & Position Overview**:
Coastal FC is a National Youth Licensed Soccer Club located in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, dedicated to the promoting and developing soccer within the community. Our mission is to provide comprehensive programs that cater to players of all ages and skill levels, ensuring the holistic development of well-rounded soccer athletes. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Consultation & Strategy: Assess Coastal FC’s IT infrastructure, operations, and goals to develop tailored strategies that align with the club’s mission.
- System Implementation: Design and implement IT solutions, including cloud platforms, data management systems, and communication tools suited to Coastal FC’s specific needs.
- Cybersecurity & Compliance: Ensure data privacy and security, particularly regarding member information, financial records, and compliance with privacy regulations.
- Tech Support & Training: Provide ongoing technical support and training to Coastal FC staff, ensuring efficient use of new systems.
- Cost Optimization: Recommend cost-effective technology solutions, utilizing sector-specific discounts and services.
- Digital Transformation: Assist in transitioning to digital platforms for member engagement, internal communication, and operational efficiency.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with IT vendors, negotiating contracts and service level agreements.
- Project Management: Oversee IT project implementation, ensuring alignment with Coastal FC’s mission, budget, and timelines.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred).

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 3-5 years of IT consulting experience, ideally with non-profit organizations.
- Proven track record of implementing technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency in non-profits.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in cloud-based platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.).
- Experience with donor management systems (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud, etc.).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with collaboration and project management tools (e.g., Slack)

**Soft Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within tight timelines.

**Preferred**:

- Prior experience working in or with non-profit organizations.
- Familiarity with grant management software and fundraising platforms.
- Certifications such as CompTIA, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
- Understanding in Community sports.
