**Primary Focus**

Production Scheduler/Cost Coordinator oversees operations of all inventory, production scheduling and costing activities. Ensure that quantitative and qualitative measures included in the operating plan are met (includes priorities related to health and safety, good manufacturing practices, sanitation, customer service, building security and proper levels of staffing).

**Accountabilities / Direct**
- Communicate scheduling information and anticipated delivery dates to sales, customers and internal departments.
- Adjust production schedules to accommodate changes to customer orders and/or changes in production capacity.
- Work with shipping to ensure appropriate delivery to customers.
- Work with Production Manager to assure adequate production capacity and company resources to fulfill production orders.
- Balance raw material receipts daily and verify raw material / finished goods inventory weekly.
- Collaborate with Sales & Operations for Variance Management.
- Collaborate with Senior Management on strategy execution and scheduling.
- Maintain weekly to daily production planning and scheduling
- Coordinate WIP and finished goods production
- Prepare detailed reports and maintain records and documentation according to guidelines in a timely and accurate manner
- **Gathers and validates weekly yield test information**:

- **Accountable for tracking and reconciling all product returns**:

- **Documentation of processes to identify any control gaps corresponding to identified risks**:

- **Mapping of key controls against identified risks**:

- **Monitors changes in business processes, information systems, management and operations, and coordinates with functional staff to ensure mitigation of risks of error and fraud.**:

- **Reviews and validates daily production records (ins and outs).**:

- **Ensure key performance indicators including Health and Safety, Sanitation, Customer Service/Satisfaction, Inventory losses/damages, communications, HACCP requirements, productivity and good manufacturing practices are adhered to;**:

- **Works closely with the Production Departments in order to meet the needs of the warehouse as it relates to available inventory and product rotation**:

- **Promotes and enhances a positive employee relation’s environment including efforts to continuously improve teamwork and establish high levels of employee involvement**:

- **Provide weekly reports to members of the senior management team**:

- **Other duties as and when assigned**

**Preferred Skills / Experience & Abilities**
- University degree in Business/Accounting preferred or relevant work experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in inventory control and/or scheduling in manufacturing environment
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication, leadership skills and the ability to work in a team environment
- Strong computer literacy, ideally with MS Office (Word & Excel)

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
