Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Inventory Control, the Inventory Specialist will responsible for managing and maintaining the dealership parking lot.
**Responsibilities**
**This position**:
- Maintains the cleanliness of the lot, service, and showroom areas.
- Liaising with the Delivery Specialist to ensure vehicles are ready for customer pick-ups.
- Plating and gassing up vehicles as required.
- Compares serial numbers of incoming cars against invoice.
- Inspects vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice.
- Records the description of damages and lists missing items on the delivery receipt.
- Parks vehicles in assigned areas.
- Catalogs and stores keys.
- Assigns stock control numbers to cars.
- Update systems with invoicing.
- Moves sold vehicles to maximize use of space and keep the lot in order.
- Delivers sold vehicles to the detail department.
- Drive vehicles to or from the company's garage, rotate cars in dealership lot and picks up/drop off cars for customers.
- Clean, remove and shovel snow from cars.
- Notify supervisor or appropriate technician when you notice parts of car that require repair or replacement.
- General data entry
- Other duties as required by the management team.
**Skills and Qualifications**
- Previous experience as a Lot Attendant is an asset but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission.
- Computer literacy required.
- Must be proficient in all aspects of Microsoft Office, particularly with excel.
- Ability to multi-task and work under mínimal supervision.
- Professional, self-motivated work habits.
- Ability to work in a team based environment.
- Highly organized.
- A valid Alberta driver's license.
- Previous detail experience would be considered an asset.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
**Experience**:
- Manual Transmission: 1 year (preferred)
