**Opportunity**

The Retail Revenue Management Analyst plays a pivotal role in developing data-driven recommendations for pricing, product assortment, and promotions. They collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and finance teams, communicating findings to stakeholders. The Analyst creates regular performance reports, provides ad hoc analysis, and focuses on continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in revenue management processes. The Retail RMA will undergo cross-training to familiarize themselves with the roles and responsibilities of the Wholesale RMA. By closely collaborating with their wholesale counterpart, they will ensure that the cross-channel impacts of their initiatives are thoroughly considered.

**Specific Responsibilities**

Data Analysis
- Analyzing shipment, orders, and POS sales data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for revenue optimization.
- Utilizing analytical tools and techniques to interpret complex data sets.

Pricing Strategy
- Collaborate with retail account managers and marketing in developing and implementing pricing strategies to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Conduct and manage the annual retail pricing review, involving in-depth analysis, strategic recommendations, customer communication, and the successful implementation of price changes.

Competitor Analysis
- Conducting competitor analysis to ensure competitive pricing and positioning.
- Conduct on-site store visits to observe competitors' retail environments, assess in-store merchandising strategies, and gain firsthand insights into customer experiences.
- Analyze store layouts, product displays, and promotional materials to understand how competitors present their offerings to customers.
- Utilize web scraping tools and techniques to gather data from competitors' websites, including pricing information, product details, and promotional campaigns.

Promotion Analysis
- Evaluating the effectiveness of promotions and discounts on sales and revenue.
- Recommending and implementing promotional strategies based on performance analysis.

Forecasting
- Serving as the main data support for the demand planning and account management teams, tasked with generating accurate and insightful sales forecasts.

Sales Performance Monitoring
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, share and price elasticity.

Margin Improvement
- Identifying opportunities to improve profit margins through pricing adjustments and mix optimization.

**Skills/Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or similar field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of analyst experience preferred. At least 2-4 years of experience in retail analytics, revenue management, retail pricing, or a related field preferred.
- A strategic problem solver with strong analytical and abstract reasoning skills, with experience in financial analysis, analytics, and scenario modeling.
- Ability to assimilate large data sets from various sources & perform fact-based analytics to drive business decisions.
- Proven ability to manage projects and initiate process improvement.
- Bilingual (French/English) preferred but not required.
